About Us
Crafting Perfection in Our Journey
Founded on August 18, 2022, in Digos City, Davao del Sur, our team sprang to life just as the world began to heal from the pandemic. At its heart stands the vision of Christian Geverola: a passion to deliver exceptional coffee that goes beyond the cup.
From the moment a seed is sown to the final latte art, we are driven by a single mission—to provide an unforgettable coffee experience rooted in superior quality, community support, and sustainable practices while preserving the rich coffee heritage of Mt. Apo.
Our team is led by our passionate barista, Mr. D. Bacor, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both local and international coffee industries. Our roasters, trained by our esteemed friend Mr. A. Cadelena—a Q grader, top roaster in the country, and 4th runner-up in the 2023 World Roasting Competition held in Bangkok—bring a deep technical understanding of green grading, roasting, and cupping.
Moreover, Li’l Ben’s microlot farmland—and its surrounding farms—is expertly managed by Mr. D. Ellaga, our farming partner and one of the most respected processors in the country. He placed 3rd in the 2023 Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC) and 7th in 2024, consistently producing specialty coffee with unique flavor notes.

Li’l Ben Coffee House and Roastery in Digos City, Philippines, is overseen by Mrs. S. K. Geverola—a wife, mother of three, and dynamic businesswoman who dedicates her time and effort to managing logistical operations.
Meanwhile, Li’l Ben Coffee House Ltd. in Milton Keynes is managed by CEO Mr. C. Geverola, a highly experienced theatre nurse and surgical assistant, as well as a visionary entrepreneur. Having explored ventures in education, retail, and wholesale, he now channels his passion into the coffee industry.
He has pursued extensive training, including the Entrepreneurial Course under the Go Negosyo Program by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). He also received rigorous barista training, as well as sensory and olfactory coffee training, farming, post-harvest processing, green grading, and roasting from institutions such as Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), General Santos Coffee Academy (GCA), and Davao Prokrate International.
He is assisted by Miss E. D. Geverola, a vibrant young entrepreneur and graduate of MAPUA Malayan University, Davao City, who is equally passionate about learning the trade and aspires to further her education in business in the UK.
But our mission doesn’t stop at brewing exceptional coffee. We are equally devoted to supporting our community through outreach initiatives. Inspired by Sir Winston Churchill’s words—“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”—we’ve partnered with local schools, including Balutakay Integrated School’s Gulayan ng Paaralan Program and Divine Mercy School of the South Inc.’s Balik Aral Program. We believe that giving back fosters a sense of purpose, strengthens community cohesion, and inspires collaborative solutions.

We also champion environmental sustainability, addressing ecological challenges in mountain farmlands. Our advocacy includes agroforestry, agritechnology, and eco-friendly natural processing methods such as sustainable pulping, solar drying, water conservation, and organic composting. We further promote beneficial insect-plant relationships to combat pests and host community planning sessions to encourage good farming practices.
Through collaboration with government agencies like the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Agriculture (DA), we gain valuable support in research, funding, and technological innovation. These efforts include soil analysis, varietal experimentation, and post-harvest refinement—laying the groundwork to share our beautiful coffees with the world.
Showcasing vibrant flavor notes from Mt. Apo, Bukidnon, Benguet, and other thriving coffee regions, we aim to tell the story of our people and our passion—one cup at a time. With deep gratitude, we thank our beloved farmers, our community, the Li’l Ben family, and all our friends and supporters.
Together, we are sowing, crafting, and sharing what we call the seed of hope—one cup at a time.
To produce world-class coffee through sustainable practices, support local farmers with fair trade initiatives, and promote the rich heritage of Mt. Apo’s coffee while fostering environmental stewardship and uplifting the community
Determined to preserve the legacy of local farming in Mt. Apo, Dione and I, together with my team at Li’l Ben Coffee House Limited, dedicate ourselves to maintaining sustainable farming and natural processing methods. This commitment enables us to produce great-tasting coffee, proudly served in Li’l Ben Coffee.
Through our collaborative efforts in the coffee industry, our coffee process has impressed Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Q graders from different parts of the world.
Recognized with high distinction, our coffee was graded at 84.4 points, earning 3rd place out of 180 entries nationwide during the annual Philippine Coffee Quality Competition in 2023, held in Manila and facilitated by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
In 2024, we continued our journey of excellence by achieving 7th place in the same competition.
